Haven’t seen this since movie night in Batavia when both Ron and Pat fell asleep ::LOL emoji:: This is only my third viewing but it might as be my first since I recall very little. I knew Tak was in this, which is why I wanted to revisit, yet didn’t remember his character. He’s terrific in a small part here but I wish he got more to do.
There’s several prominent actors missing that I need to add to TMDb including Masato Ibu and Naoto Takenaka, who has a major role. Aya Ueto really is great as the titular character, especially for being only 17 or 18 when this was made.
Lots to enjoy in this movie. Also, I hope a Blu exists bc this DVD looks like shit. Would be nice to have a set with both films.
