Simon, son of the king, must flee when the empire is overthrown by the evil Shurka. Schooled in the arts of magic, he must find the Ring of Magic and the Sword of Power and defeat the wizard who killed his father. He is joined in his quest by the swordmaster Kor, his faithful protector Gulfax, and the Forest Wizard Hurla.

Not a good movie but hella entertaining. Cribs from so many other films and books… Star Wars, LOTR, Temple of Doom, Blind Dead, etc. and yet still manages to craft some cool imagery and practical FX. This is exactly the movie that should screen at B-Fest.
Another “if I had seen this as a child it would be one of my favorite movies of all time” entries. I would have been in love with this movie.
