Viewing Notes
Really good performances from both leads and a great supporting cast but a little too screwball comedy for my tastes. Myrna has the best gowns in this one which is saying a lot.
This is the last movie the Loy / Powell set so it’s a tad bittersweet. I did check on its availability and it’s $200 now. That’s ridiculous but also why doesn’t TCM just license the films for another round or at least get them on Blu. The Thin Man set, which I own, goes for $250.
