Nothing in this rang familiar so I don’t think I’ve watched it but then again who can really say. What I enjoyed the most is that Rosamund Kwan gets more to do here. Plus the entire lion dance sequence is fucking bonkers!
The interview with John Wakefield on the Criterion disc is p good. Incredibly he looks younger in that video than he does in the movie shot 20 years prior.
