Viewing Notes

Shortly after this started I realized that I have in fact viewed this film previously. Saw it on the big screen at Northbrook Library. Hard to forget this one bc Gene Tierney is a sociopath. Great example of how a physically beautiful person can appear ugly. She’s a complete monster here. I’d like to see an opposite of this where the husband is the jealous obsessive and possessive freak. I’m sure that movie exists.

This is also the odd film noir that was presented in color. Bad decision as it generally looks like it was colorized and definitely would’ve been more interesting in black and white. Maybe they thought this was elevated noir? Lol
