Today we got the unfortunate news that Bruce Willis is retiring from acting due to his medical condition and aphasia diagnosis. So I decided to pick up some of his films at the library including this recent one, not expecting great things but whatever. I just wanted to see the man doing his thing.
This premise is basically THE THING on a spaceship, which is amusing given the thing is from outer space. Anyways, this is not nearly as bad as the ratings. Sure, it’s a B-movie all the way but the cast is solid and Willis is engaged. Unlike other recent flicks he seems to have been around for more than a day or two given how many scenes he’s in (he’s in a lot of scenes). He’s not as sharp but he’s still pretty good here all things considered. I watched DVD but if I came across the Blu for cheap I’d pick it up bc I like this movie. Also noticed it’s streaming on Prime rn.
