Watched another for my Bruce Willis retrospect and holy crap I was not expecting to see a giallo flick! Somehow despite this movie always being on the cable movie channels I never saw it. What a mistake bc this is a fun movie and so totally the nineties. Willis is great as the once detective now river cop. Sizemore is a lot of fun, too. Just needed to title this something like “Killer Strikes Eight in the River” or some shit then add a eurohorror score.
There are a couple things I dislike (making Jo a romantic interest instead of just being his partner is awful and unneeded for the story) but overall this is a cool Pittsburgh cop flick with so many nods to gialli. Plus this cast is loaded!
