Viewing Notes

Picked this up when I saw Bruce Willis *and* Bill Murray were in this. It’s really Murray’s film but Bruce has a solid supporting turn here. Really got sucked into the culture clash and story (v loosely based on a real event). Perfect role for Murray as a washed up agent looking for one more chance at success with a new singing talent but stuck in a culture that forbids women from singing.

This supporting role by Willis is the kind of thing he should’ve done more of in his final years. Or maybe he tried or Thought he was? He’s very on point here and it works.
