Viewing Notes

Very cute, charming film about the passion and challenge of filmmaking that also overly romanizes the process into this near fantasy depiction of how films are made. It’s amusing especially for anyone that knows anything about the effort it takes to make a movie let alone a big award bait prestige type of movie.

Had to go to the English dubbed screening since I couldn’t make the Japanese version last night bc I got sick and wasn’t up for going down to Orchard. This theater gets worse every gd time I go there. Tonight they just let the fathom pre-roll run for 30 minutes… WTF. Like nobody was monitoring this auditorium so I had to walk out tell someone to start the fucking movie. JFC
