Basically a V-Cinema style production. Low budget action with a splash of weird sex behavior. Didn’t realize this was the same director for the Attack of the Giant Teacher kaiju flick I saw at G-Fest (and met the director). Had I known and seen this prior to that meeting I would’ve asked about this movie.
The story is the well worn trope of young women groomed from childhood to be assassins. I’ll never tire of that one but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, rather flat with only a few flourishes of action. The thing that really hurts this is the obvious male double used for the fight sequences of the lead assassin. It’s so obvious it’s distracting and annoying. Would’ve been so much better to just train that lead actress and cut the film to make her look good than having a man stunt double for those scenes.
