Viewing Notes

Unexpected surprise for our movie night as Ron had just received the 4K UHD that day so yeah why not. Heard a lot things about this one and all of it true. Super violent and graphic and extremely well-made. This would be an excellent movie to see with a crowd in a packed theater. Just relentless. I hope they release a 4K UHD in NA.

I noted this after the viewing but it’s kinda wild to watch this while viewing the RAPE ZOMBIE: LUST OF THE DEAD films from Japan. THE SADNESS is essentially a loose remake of that story wherein the virus causes ppl to become sex fiends in addition to being brutally violent. Of course the RAPE ZOMBIE flicks are made on a shoestring V-cinema budget and are generally not great. This movie, however, has a decent budget to pull off some great stunts and realistic FX.
