Viewing Notes
Decided to rewatch this since DKUTV was broadcasting it tonight. Still like the movie but less so on this viewing for the same reasons noted in my previous log; the cool parts are really neat to see but everything in between is a bit tedious and uninteresting. And Kikaider is a bit of a bore. Also the final battle with Hakaider isn’t all that especially given the better staged battles that come before it. The fight with Mari (Maryjun Takahashi) is so much better staged and thrilling. I do like the suits and I am still sad they never delivered on the sequel setup with Mari, the most interesting character in this movie.
