Overview

Average Texas teen, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harrased around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother’s scooter for fun. The boys’ father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for “fair is fair” takes the teens around the state and produces an unlikely hero.

Viewing Notes

I bought this Blu a while back after reading so much hype for it. Finally spun it up and yep it lives up to the hype. Damn good flick and so enjoyable to watch these young folks on the run for a crime they didn’t commit… while becoming local heroes. Helen Slater is excellent. This is one of those titles that I’d see pop up over the years and it never once piqued my interest. Only took a few mutuals on my TL to rave about to get me to pull the trigger and maybe a year or so later watch it. Typical Jay
