I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I will never tire of the “orphan girl raised and trained to be a badass assassin” trope. This movie isn’t doing anything new with this premise but still delivers a decent film with a few good action beats for its heroine. Probably the best compliment I can give this film is that Kangana Ranaut as the main character is actually believable in the role of super assassin; she’s looks the part unlike some other actresses I’ve seen in similar roles. I totally believe she can destroy these dudes and she does. I’d love to see a sequel with her.
