Viewing Notes
When I was looking up Robotech stuff online I learned there was a pilot feature film that aired on TV before the series started. Found it on YT and watched it hoping it was gonna be a prequel to the tv show. Unfortunately it’s not. Rather it’s a compressed film of several of the show episodes smushed together. So basically all stuff we’ve seen in the series but oddly presented out of context of the series. It would’ve been so weird to see this “film” then watch the series and reaching the same scenes.
It’s an interesting thing but not worth viewing over the series as it’s got nothing new to offer.
