Viewing Notes

One movie in a series of movies developed from the Star of the Giants anime series, which is about a high school teen who wants to follow in the footsteps of his father and be a star player for the Yomiuri Giants. This installment is about how Hyuma injures his hand and gives up a home run that jeopardizes his chances of getting drafted by the Giants. So he does a walk-on try-out test with another teammate but is challenged by an Olympian. Story is fine but gets better as it goes.

This was programmed by DKUTV for their tribute to the Godzilla Champion Festival events from the early 1970s. During those festivals they screened re-edited Godzilla movies and family flicks for children.
