Another Miike that I hadn’t seen despite having the dvd for ages. Now I have the Blu from Arrow. So cool that Miike made these kinds of mixed crime / drama stories and how effective they are. This is a nice little yarn set in the rainy shantytown hood of Taipei. Someday I wish a big indie theater would do a Miike retrospective. Too bad MBT never did one back in the day. This one would be ideal for that.
