Overview

Girls in Trouble: Space Squad Episode Zero is an installment in the Toei Company V-Cinema series. Space Squad serves as a crossover between the revival of the Metal Heroes’ Space Sheriff series and the Super Sentai series Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger. A prologue to Gavan vs. Dekaranger, this movie focuses on the female characters of both series.

This is pretty neat! Mashup of different tokusatsu shows featuring just the female characters. I’d watch more of these! Also, kinda violent (blood splatter and death) given the source material.

The premise here is that these fighter women (space sheriffs, dekarangers, space police) find themselves in some kind of test where they are killed over and over by the same creature until they can solve a way to beat it. Sounds familiar right?
