Viewing Notes
Mostly well-crafted throwback to J-horror with a brief homage to TENEBRE (my opinion) that owes the most to IT FOLLOWS. Ten minutes longer than it needs to be but some neat FX, imagery and jump scares.
Appreciated casting Kal Penn in this New Jersey set movie. Lol
If I didn’t know I would think this was a remake of a J-Horror film. Now imagining that Japan will remake this as it is totally their kind of thing.
