One of those films where the parts are much greater than the result but I love watching v good actors act. Even when the entire affair feels a tad hollow and slight, good actors can keep it afloat and keep up the interest. The three leads are all so much fun to watch then throw in that ensemble cast around them and it’s an enjoyable ride. Margot Robbie is luminous and really is the glue for the story.
I’ve seen three period big screen murder mysteries this year with more to come. Is this a result of the success of Knives Out? I’m all for more of them!
