The first film “Dumplings” was extended and turned into a full-length theatrical film of the same name.

Because this is so long I split the viewing over the past week watching a segment at a time. Today I finished the final segment, Miike’s BOX. I believe the last time I viewed this was at a movie night in Batavia. P sure we enjoyed it. This viewing I was more impressed with all the segments. They do work well on their own but also as an anthology about the human condition (vanity and connection to each other are main threads). Glad I revisited.
