Viewing Notes

Picked a Code Red title to celebrate the life of Bill Bananaman Olsen, who passed away yesterday. I bought so many movies from him over the years. Such a cantankerous man that literally would refuse orders of ppl he didn’t like despite barely breaking even selling obscure genre films. Such a character in the distribution game but he paved the way for all these boutique labels we have today. He was an original. Gonna miss ya, Bill! Rest easy, sir.

This movie is indicative of the types of movies he’d find and sell (or his brother would sell on the Scorpion label): a good movie that lacks a certain something to make it great.

Ideal giallo premise here that slowly fizzles towards a very lackluster finale. But it does feature a parade of beautiful women including my fave Nieves Navarro. Disappointing that they did not craft a better more thrilling story after signing on all these women.
