Had to watch this bc of course I did. It’s a pre-war oddity with a racist script and a terrible yet famous narrator who really pushes on certain syllables and words to make them sound more racist. WTF

Can’t be mad bc this was a thing to pitch The Far East as this exotic land yet look it’s just like us and our cities (before we bomb the shit out of it). Just hate the voice over pronunciation of Japan as “JAP-pan” and the overuse of “Nip-pon” among other things.

But it does touch on some cultural aspects so maybe the theater going crowd learned a few things!
