Drove 45 minutes up to East Loveland for my first visit to the MetroLux Cinema. Total old school theater but they’re in the process of adding an IMAX screen.
Anyways this is one of the darker family films one might see and probably the darkest adaptation of this story. Has plenty of imagery from GDT’s other films especially war and religion themes. The animation is very nice and the voice acting is great. Recognized most of the voices, too, but they aren’t distracting.
Wonder if this will get a physical media release since it’s a Netflix movie. Would be a great gateway horror fantasy film for young children.
