Inspired by legendary folklore rooted in Arunachal Pradesh, Bhediya tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who gets bitten by a mythical wolf and begins to transform into the creature himself. As Bhaskar and his ragtag buddies try to find answers, he is worried that the monster in him will wipe out human existence in the local town.

Viewing Notes
This is fine and about on par w/that Spanish werewolf movie watched in October then in November for the TRR marathon (Attack of the Werewolves). Even has the same friend dynamic w/three dudes and one becomes a werewolf. Certain ppl are getting killed in the village and this werewolf, which they call the virus, is accused on the crimes.
Of course if you seen enough of these stories you know there’s something else going on and it plays out exactly as I predicted early on. It’s fine and I do like the CG wolf designs and some of the brutal attacks. Also liked the location in Arunachal which was entirely unfamiliar to me. It’s part of Northwest India but almost like a different country and populated by ppl with East Asian features but are Indian (this is addressed in the movie). It was a nice change of pace from all the Mumbai set movies I’ve seen this year.
