Viewing Notes

Haven’t seen this since the 35mm screening at Noir City back in 2014. Besides being a terrific beach noir, reason to revisit is the intro and outro by Eddie Muller via TCM Noir Alley. Pretty much the same he provided at our NC screening but great to hear again. Also, the transfer on TCM is excellent. Love all the sets esp the 24hr drugstore pharmacy and night club.

The absurdity of this movie is that Cyd Charisse is right fucking there but sure chase the awful person (Audrey Totter).
