Longer than it needs to be with one or two unneeded plot points but I’m a Wirkola fan and this is exactly the type of movie to expect from him. Probably a super solid 6 out of 10 but a few emotional beats got me plus a couple of the action scenes raise it a point. Great dialogue, too, and Leguizamo chewing up scenery like no one’s business make it an entertaining experience. Would’ve loved to see this in a packed theater with a good crowd.
Amusing that this movie was in the Dolby theater. Cinemas starved for good movies right now.
