Ollie Dee and Stannie Dum try to borrow money from their employer, the toymaker, to pay off the mortgage on Mother Peep’s shoe and keep it and Little Bo Peep from the clutches of the evil Barnaby. When that fails, they trick Barnaby, enraging him.

Surprised I hadn’t seen this version given that the 1961 film is an all time favorite. The “bogeymen” are nightmare fuel for children but that damn monkey in the mouse costume is the real creepy.
This really isn’t a Christmas movie even it’s often categorized as one (as is the 1961 film) but it has a scene where Stan delivers Christmas presents in July to Barnaby so I guess that’s why? ::shrug emoji::
