Viewing Notes
My last non-seen recent Jet Li film that I’ve been holding off bc I knew it wasn’t good. It’s not but I still enjoyed it for what it’s trying to do (throwback to HK crime buddy comedies) and bringing a crazy cast to the table. Hell, they lead with a Collin Chou / Li fight homage to their early days! Then Chou never returns lol what a choice. Then enter Stephen Fung and things get interesting. There’s even a hilarious Lam Suet cameo!
I really hoped that Jet would take on more projects like this as a supporting character, the old grizzled cop or whatever, and stick around for another couple of decades. Just like what Ti Lung and David Chiang did.
