As usual a great intro and outro by Eddie Muller for Noir Alley. Really gonna miss these! This is a wild movie that’s a double bonus for having Bogart and Stanwyck in a psychological thriller. This is basically the 1940s equivalent of the 90s erotic thriller. Bogart is a sociopath creating a painting for each woman in his life called “lady of death” or something then he has to off each woman. This is p fucked up and Bogart goes nuts.
