Overview
The advertising director of Pacific Pharmaceuticals, frustrated with the low ratings of their sponsored TV program, seeks a more sensationalist approach. He orders his staff to Faro Island to capture King Kong for exploitation. As Godzilla re-emerges, a media frenzy generates with Pacific looking to capitalize off of the ultimate battle.

Viewing Notes
DKUTV is back on the air kicking off 2023 with their Kaiju Bowl. This year it’s King Kong vs the Mecha so all Kong and all Mecha movies. I flipped it on just to have something on while I tooled around. They had the JP version and it looked better than the Criterion version. Guess Josef wasn’t joking when he said he upgraded all his gear. Seriously looked amazing. Love the JP so much more, too. Especially bc it has the original score and not the Gillman score.
