Had v low expectations so perhaps that’s why I was fine with this. It’s silly and wants to be GOTG + Thor Ragnorok, which I can understand why. It’s not either of those but I love the Kirby-esque designs and weird characters. Was mostly amused thinking the entire time that all of was shot on a soundstage. It’s remarkable what they can do now to create worlds. Reminds of the Journey to the Center of the Earth movie but on a $200m budget.
While this is in no way a great movie or even a great MCU movie I appreciate that they give all the primary characters a moment to shine. Michelle Pfeiffer is so entertaining here being a badass and spouting all this quantum realm nonsense. Jonathon Majors is very good, too.
Anyways, this is a p dumb movie that I had fun with and would see it again. But I totally get why many ppl think this is awful or the worst MCU movie.
