Viewing Notes

RIP Raquel Welch
September 5, 1940 — February 15, 2023

DKUTV programmed a Raquel Welch double feature to celebrate her life after her recent passing a couple days ago. Super happy they included this movie bc I wanted to see it a few years back when I was viewing a handful of her films. It was hard to obtain then.

It’s a fun role in a dopey ass story where she’s recruited to recover a priceless artifact. Besides Raquel, who is exquisite as ever in many colorful outfits and swimwear, the main highlights are the stunt work. The boat chase, bull scene and plane chase are all done very well. wild that if they were done today it would all be digital FX. Unless it was Mission Impossible.
