Fun premise but that first half is shaggy especially that entire flashback sequence with Mike following Ray bc he wants to become a hitman. Woof

Fortunately things turn around when the story actually starts and that first fight between Adkins and MJW and Darth
Maul is aces. From there it becomes a decent film and I love that final fight with Amy Johnston (so happy she was cast in this!). Worth noting that Ray Park’s character is loathsome but even worse with what’s come to light about him and how vile he is in RL, which is a v sad thing for me bc I loved him as Maul and Snake Eyes.

Anyways, this is a mostly good JVJ film buoyed by an excellent cast. Also love Ashley Greene lots and think it’s neat her and Scott would come together again for One Shot.
