Viewing Notes

Another “oldie but goodie Statham with hair” romp that I haven’t seen since its dvd release. As this was going along in the first half I was like “this is such a novelty and how did they ever make a sequel to this? Six stars.” But there are some big LOL moments esp. in the hospital; all of that dialogue that Statham delivers is really funny in that sequence. The entire movie cannot sustain that and drags in places (most of the gf / Amy Smart stuff isn’t good, sadly) and those homophobic slurs don’t age well. But for a “all in one day” comedy thriller, this still works and is also a p good Los Angeles movie.
