Viewing Notes
Kinda wild to have a movie w/this premise only a couple years after the VICE bigfoot mockumentary that we saw at the ChattFilmFest. This is a very similar premise w/a journalist going into the woods to learn and write about a guy that gives bigfoot tours or something. Things aren’t as they seem and then some shit goes down. Gotta say this is more compelling than I expected. The first third was like, “oh this again? ugh” but turned into oh this is a crime drama that finally gets a little cryptozoological. I dug it.
