Makes sense why Jet Li exits the movie early. This is a step down from the previous movie and in most cases a waste of nearly everyone involved. The script isn’t good with clunky dialogue and dumb one liners. Wedging Willis and Schwarzenegger into the action isn’t good but it was nice seeing those two with Stallone at the end.
The Maggie character is fine and it’s cool to have a woman merc on the team but she’s no Jet Li and all the interactions are awkward. Both big finale fights are severe letdowns. Hire a HK director to second unit that shit bc that Statham / Adkins showdown should’ve been an all timer. Instead it’s just a murky chopped up nothing. None of this is surprising with Simon West at the helm.
