very cute coming-of-age film set in the stands of a high school baseball game, East Iruma High, as a small group of teens talk about the game, the players, life and themselves all while becoming friends during this moment. What’s neat is that we never see the game; we only see these teens in the stands along with band when they perform reacting to the game. Neat idea for this type of film esp. on a micro budget. Very impressed with these young actors, too.
The kids are wearing these pink shirts that say “Higashi Iruma” for the East Iruma High School and I want one! They had to make dozens of these. Some are wearing sky blue shirts and I saw one black shirt w/the stylized “Higashi Iruma” logo. Also, the band are wearing trucker caps w/purple bills that have the same logo. I want one of those too! Wondering if I can find them on ebay or Yahoo Japan.
