Overview
In a futuristic world where the polar ice caps have melted and made Earth a liquid planet, a beautiful barmaid rescues a mutant seafarer from a floating island prison. They escape, along with her young charge, Enola, and sail off aboard his ship. But the trio soon becomes the target of a menacing pirate who covets the map to ‘Dryland’—which is tattooed on Enola’s back.

Viewing Notes
With all the recent chatter about this movie I busted out my Arrow release to finally give it some time. I enjoyed this movie on release (saw it with my brother) and never understood the backlash. It’s basically Road Warrior on water. Dennis Hopper looks great and is having fun. Overall a solid action adventure even if I don’t buy that ending w/the island discovery given the rest of the world
