Viewing Notes

Odd animated feature produced in Japan so has a slight anime look to it but not enough to call it that. It’s as tho they told to studio to do their thing but make it look like the DC animated films instead of just producing an anime feature. So it looks strange at times. Cheetah looks a lot like Devil Woman, tho.

They flirt with Batwoman’s lesbianism against Catwoman’s bisexuality a lot, which is also weird because it never goes anywhere. Like commit to this or don’t bother. These are made for adults so just have them hook up bc that’s probably what would happen instead of the dumb teasing.

The story is all fantastical with monsters and villains and ninja so it’s real cornball stuff. But I like the old school catwoman suit and having Batwoman as an unlikely ally. I’d like to see a live action version of this or a better rendered animated film. Done in this faux anime style it all feels very silly.
