Viewing Notes

Was prompted to get the 4K UHD after Ron recently revisited. Found it used for cheap and just got it a couple days ago so tonight seemed like a good time to give it a spin. Honestly didn’t think it was that long ago since my last viewing unless I missed a log which is possible.

The movie is so goofy almost like a parody or spoof on the original. Russell is still great in this iconic role but everyone else seems to be in on the joke. Also, 2013?! That’s precious. Hard to take this movie seriously but I’m just gonna believe that Carpenter wanted a paycheck and had a ball making this.
