Back on the DKUTV Lupin marathon! One that I hadn’t seen nor is easily available to view… tho I was skeptical about this team-up or versus bc I’m unfamiliar w/Detective Conan other than knowing the general premise of that manga / anime (he’s a kid and a detective!). So I expected this to be a little goofy (more than usual w/Lupin films) and perhaps aimed for a younger set than the typical adult content found in Lupin shows and movies.
I was wrong! This movie is a blast with some genuine thrilling moments. The humor is still present but the back and forth between Lupin and Conan, who’s trying to catch Lupin yet work with him to solve the crime, is really good. Would like to see the other team-up episodes and films.
