Not quite as sold on this as others but I get the appeal of a new Rajinikanth flick. Dude has charisma. Would almost consider giving this a 7 simply bc he’s doing it this good at this level at 73 years old. Like I want to be half of what he is at that age… right now!
Lots of blood and violence and some fun musclemen snipers. Tonally all over the place and jarring at times. Second half almost an entirely different movie.
a white couple walked in and sat down an hour into the movie w/their drinks and popcorn. After 30 minute they got up and left. WTF
Mental note: take earplugs to all Indian film screenings at Promenade. Had to keep my hood up and hands on my ears for a lot of the runtime which absolutely sucked. But GD is it too loud.
