Viewing Notes

Directors cut for Part 2 is 3 hours long! This is a 5.5hr film about the sexcapades of Joe as boldly portrayed by Charlotte Gainsbourg. This “sequel” just continues the story but now instead of Stacy Martin as younger Joe it’s Charlotte as Joe as she details more chapters of her adult life.

It’s fine and fascinating but not caring much for the characters makes it less interesting, if that makes sense. I’m more curious how they made this movie with all the explicit nudity and sex. Like, was there even an intimacy coach on set? How would that even work.
