Continuing my Tsukamoto viewing with one I haven’t seen in a long time so a very good revisit. I like this film a lot and its unconventional love story. Ikumi has the best expressions and totally nails the goth-a-billy look. Surprised she didn’t have a bigger career bc she’s great here. Ofc Tadanobu is good but Jun Kunimura as the angry father is even better.
Also love how this movie is shot. The camera movement adds to the emotion of the scene. Tsukamoto definitely leveled up his techniques.
