Viewing Notes

My first title for this years 31 Days of Horror, one I’ve been sitting on for a while. I knew it would have the appropriate spooky atmosphere to kick off the month. Enjoyed it despite the speech anachronisms and how freaking tall Cusack is, which is distracting bc he towers over the others and it’s not how you’d visualize Poe.

But I like the idea of a killer using his stories to commit murders. Wish it had been more of that sorta buddy cop mystery solving than the whole relationship thing with Alice Eve. Also don’t understand why all these English actors had to speak with very obvious American accents when it wouldn’t have been so necessary for that time period. Unless ppl really did hide their English accents, which would be weird. Just an odd choice that was also distracting.
