Overview
Just when you thought it was safe to sleep, Freddy Krueger returns in this sixth installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street films, as psychologist Maggie Burroughs, tormented by recurring nightmares, meets a patient with the same horrific dreams. Their quest for answers leads to a certain house on Elm Street—where the nightmares become reality.

Couldn’t find my dvd so I resorted to MAX to spin this up, one of two NOES sequels I haven’t seen. Rather lackluster outing, too. Just seems flat. Even the kills aren’t very good. They run that clips collection during the credits that shows how much better all the previous kills (and movies) are by comparison.
I may just fire up one of those movies this month as a reminder that this franchise is indeed worthy.
