Viewing Notes

Started this on the flight home to Colorado via download but the movie is too dark to see what’s happening. So I finished the second half at home. Wanted to revisit bc it’s been mentioned a lot on my TL recently. It is seasonally appropriate.

There’s a lot to like especially the scarecrow design and the heist premise. The practical FX are great, too. But that dialogue and those actors and that screenplay needed work. Lines like “they’re some kind of demonic demons!” is not good. But it was cool to see old Dave Campbell (Deadly Prey) as the good guy father.
