Effective bc Kurosawa knows how create a sense of fear from so little. However, I don’t believe he directed this after Cure and Pulse. I wonder if the release year is just when the DVD set was released rather than when this series premiered which I’m guessing was early nineties.
This is so old I barely recognized Hidetoshi Nishijima in the lead as the husband. The Wikipedia page says they were all screened in 2005 for the 50th anniversary of Kazuo Umezu‘s manga career. Yet I still wonder if the actual production was done well before that year.
