Viewing Notes
Wanted to watch this after watching ROCKY last night. Had heard this wasn’t terribly insightful but still worth viewing and that’s true. It’s really about Stallone attempting to exorcise his demons dealing with his father and how that relationship impacted so many of his career choices.
Not a tremendous amount of depth but a nice Stallone approved (his production company) look back at his life as a filmmaker and celebrity with some fun anecdotes by Schwarzenegger and Tarantino. Perfectly fine. I teared up twice so 7 stars.
Wish Carl Weathers and Dolph Lundgren were included. Even Statham would’ve been nice. Ah well.
